Dstructive Video Interview

As we all know, Dstructive is a lyrical mastermind and needs more notification within the underground hip-hop crowd. I was inclined to dig a little deeper into Dstructive’s thoughts and had to do a video interview with him about his new mixtape release: Donut Powered Time Machine. Check out the interview below and be sure to download Dstructive’s DPTM Part 1 mixtape here or read the mixtape review here.

Be sure to play the entire video if you want to listen to a preview track from the mixtape before downloading it, YOU KNOW!?

Mora on the set of ESPN video shoot

While I believe he is still trying to find himself, Mora continues to create new material after many ups and downs with his music. In his latest track: ESPN, I had a full hand in the filming, directing, editing and producing of the music video for the track. I used my new directing alias – “Alexander Timrose” to release the video and various other videos.

Mora’s ESPN music video was my first full attempt to create, edit, direct and produce a music video. I filmed the entire video with a Canon 550d Rebel T2i using a Canon IS Ef24-105mm f/4L lens. I also did all my editing with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, After Effects and Photoshop. The editing process is quite tedious, but I learned a lot and had some fun.

Take a gander at the video below and let me know what you think! Mora should have a lot of new material coming soon! Connect with Mora on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/MoraMusicGroup.

Broken Wax Wings

I recently spent some time over at Back Pack Music’s studio in Snellville, GA to see what their entire operation is all about. I took the time to snap some pictures of their studio, engineers/producers and a rapper they are currently working with: Icarus Da Kid. The BPM team definitely creates unique blends of sounds for the real hip-hop heads to enjoy – accompanied by Icarus Da Kid’s sick flow, which is reminiscent of Del the Funky Homosapien (in my opinion). If you are in the Atlanta area, they are currently accepting clients for studio time and other media projects. For BPM’s contact information, you can visit their web site at www.backpackmusicgroup.com. Also, feel free to download their latest album “Broken Wax Wings” by clicking here.
